Let me start by telling you a true story. Important...Please take a few moments to read the entire story. This could happen to you. Cindy's friend Abby wanted to go to the studio that did Cindy's senior portraits. Abby loved the variety of backgrounds and sets both inside and outside and the poses were fantastic. Cindy told her about how much fun the session was and that she left feeling like a model. Abby's mother had not made an appointment yet and was visiting with a friend about how excited Abby was to have her photos taken. The friend with a camera told Abby's mother she had done a few senior photos and could save her money. So what does Abby's mother do? She has the friend do Abby's photos against her wishes. The photos were terrible, but Abby's mother didn't want to hurt the feelings of her friend, so she bought photos and put one on her wall. Now Abby's can come home for the next 20 years and look at her senior portrait on the wall that she hates, all to save a few dollars. This is a true story! Let's suppose Abby has low self-esteem, she thinks that she is a loser. The person with the camera (hobby photographer) doesn't know how to light and pose her to flatter her.
